Federal Resources
Through FEMA, fire management assistance is available to state, local, tribal and territorial governments. This assistance helps with mitigation, management, and control of fires. For more information visit here or call 1-800-621-FEMA.
LA County Resources
The Los Angeles County Emergency Incident Response website has been activated. This website provides a mapping tool and lists real-time evacuation, shelter, and other information/resources related to the Palisades, Eaton, Franklin, and Hurst wildfires.
City of LA Resources
The City of LA has compiled a comprehensive list of resources as part of its emergency preparedness and response efforts. You can view those resources here.
Water and Power Outages
If you are a Southern California Edison (SCE) customer in Ladera Heights, View Park-Windsor Hills, or another impacted area without power, visit this link to report an outage or call 800-611-1911. SCE is on-site working to restore power. You can view current SCE outages here.
Department of Water & Power customers can report power outages here or call 800-342-5397. Current water outages can be viewed here and current power outages can be viewed here.
Additionally, LADWP is urging customers to conserve water during the firefighting efforts and to boil water intended for consumption due to potential contamination from ash in the system.

Power Outages
As of 9:00 p.m. last night, 86,267 LADWP customers are without power, with 31,406 restorations completed. Crews are working in hazardous conditions to restore service as quickly as possible.
If you lose power: Report outages online at LADWP Outages or call 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397). Keep flashlights and extra batteries nearby. Keep your refrigerator closed to preserve food.
Steps You Can Take to Be Prepared
Have Your GO Bag Ready: Pack essentials like clothing, medications, important documents, water, non-perishable food, phone chargers, and a flashlight. Include masks and any supplies you’d need for children, pets, or elderly family members.
Charge Up and Fuel Up: Fully charge your phones and backup batteries. Ensure your vehicle’s gas tank is full or your electric car is fully charged.
Stay Alert: Sign up for NotifyLA for real-time updates. Download the Watch Duty app to monitor active wildfires. Monitor LAFD alerts, weather reports, and local news. If you are an iPhone user, make sure your emergency, public safety, and government alerts are turned on.
Plan Your Route: Know multiple ways to leave your neighborhood in case of an evacuation. Have a plan to reunite with family or loved ones if you’re separated.
Prepare Your Home: Clear debris, dead leaves, and other flammable materials from around your home. Ensure garden hoses are connected and ready to use. Close windows and vents to prevent embers from entering your home.
Help Emergency Services: Park off the street whenever possible to leave roads clear for first responders. Stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during peak winds, especially after 10 PM tonight.
Other Closures and Safety Information
Schools
Several LAUSD schools will be closed today, including Canyon Elementary, Palisades Charter Elementary, and Marquez Charter Elementary. Check lausd.org for updates.
Parks and Recreation
Parks such as Griffith Park and Runyon Canyon are closed from 10:00 p.m. Tuesday to 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
Recreation centers, including Barrington and Rustic, are also closed.
The Los Angeles Zoo will remain closed today to ensure the safety of staff and animals.
LA RESTAURANTS OFFERING FREE MEALS TO FIRE EVACUEES
Food:
Until people are out of imminent danger, the Vietnamese street food spot will offer free food to evacuees and first responders.
Guerilla Tacos will be offering free food for evacuees and first responders. The taco spot is also working with IHC and Nativo to accept food donations to be dropped off at the Rose Bowl for first responders until 3 P.M.
The LA coffee shop will offer free groceries, water, and masks from 12 to 4 p.m. On Thursday, January 9th.
La Sorted’s pizzeria in Silverlake and Chinatown are offering free food to displaced people and first responders.
At evacuation centers across LA, Yeastie Boys will be offering free bagels for fire fighters and displaced peoples.
Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
The LA Regional Food Bank is working with nonprofits, government agencies, and faith-based partners and has a network of more than 600 partner agencies that have food pantries across the city offering food assistance.
Using the Food Pantry Locator, you can find where food is available or whether the agencies are still operating near evacuation areas.
Those displaced by the fires and first responders can pick up a complimentary bowl of Mama’s pho or garlic noodles from Crustacean.
Crustacean is located at 468 N. Bedford Drive, Beverly Hills.
Julienne Fine Foods and Celebrations
The San Marino marketplace is open, offering food, community and comfort to those in need.
First responders and firefighters are being treated to free meals from today through January 12 at NORMS restaurants in the LA area.
First responders stopping into Joe’s Pizza will be treated to free pizza at any location.
Blaze Pizza (Glendale Galleria):
Blaze Pizza at the Glendale Galleria, located at 100 W Broadway, Glendale, CA 91210 is giving away free 11-inch pizzas from 10:30 Am to 8:00 PM for those affected by the fires.
All locations in LA county will be offering free Shackburgers to first responders through January 12th.

Calamigos Ranch, in Malibu, is offering free breakfast burritos every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Calamigos Beach Club restaurant. The food can be eaten there or picked up and taken back to families. The space can also be used to rest, charge smartphones and computers and utilize bathroom facilities. The restaurant is at 26025 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu 90265.
Highland Park Brewery is offering free combo specials for first responders, evacuees or anyone affected by the fires. The specials include the HPB Burger, vegan chipotle burger, fried chicken sandwich, hot dog and grilled chicken club. On top of that, chef Caroline will offer her famous chili. The location is at 1220 N. Spring St., Los Angeles 90012.
Magic Castle Hollywood is transforming its parking lot on Tuesday, Jan. 14,into a supportive place, distributing deli sandwiches, chips and cookies to individuals and families, challenges brought on by the fires. Strolling magicians will be on hand to bring a moment of joy to attendees. The Castle is at 7001 Franklin Ave., Los Angeles 90028.
McDonald’s Southern California locations are offering a free Happy Meal through its app, no purchase necessary. The offer will be available starting Monday, Jan. 13, through Thursday, Jan. 16. A list of participating locations can be found online. Additionally, the McDonald’s Snack Truck will be arriving in Southern California to support relief efforts. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Snack Truck will deploy across the San Fernando Valley to serve evacuees and families affected by the fires. The Snack Truck will be at 13501 Osborne St., Arleta, and the North Valley Caring Services at 15453 Rayen St., North Hills from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Downtown LA’s Hoxton Hotel is offering those displaced by the fires a special room rate of $100 per night (plus taxes and fees) from today until Friday, January 10th. Book using the code HERETOHELP. The hotel is dog friendly.

The Hotel Assn. of Los Angeles has compiled a list of hotels in the Los Angeles area that have room available and are offering special rates for fire victims. The list, which is accessible from a Google spreadsheet, is continuously being updated and contains contact information and details on any fire-related special rate.The city of Anaheim has compiled an online list of hotels within the city that are offering discounted rates for victims who have been displaced by the fire. The 39 hotels offering discounts include Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa, Clementine Hotel and Suites Anaheim, Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort, and Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim.
San Diego Tourism Authority has an online list of San Diego-area hotels that are offering special accommodation rates for fire victims. The 34 hotels offering discounts include, Town and Country Resort, Intercontinental San Diego, Bahia Resort Hotel, Rancho Bernardo Inn, La Jolla Shores Hotel and more.
Visit Santa Barbara created an online list of Santa Barbara-area discounted lodging rates for those affected by the fire. Due to high demand, availability may be limited. The organization recommends contacting any of the 23 hotels listed directly for the most up-to-date information on daily activities.
Discover Torrance has created an online tool where fire victims can type in their dates for stay and number of guests to see which hotels in the Torrance area have availability for special rates.
Kawada Hotel
Downtown LA’s Kawada Hotel is offering evacuees a special reduced rate when booking with the code “SAFE.” Book here.
Long Beach’s Queen Mary is offering discounted rooms for fire evacuees at $189, with all pet fees waived. People with a reservation will also receive a voucher for a breakfast buffet for two. Book here.
Visit Anaheim:
Visit Anaheim is offering evacuees discounted rates at local hotels in 33 different locations. For the full list, click here.
Financial resources
Musicares, a nonprofit safety net of health and welfare services for the music community, is offering immediate assistance to anyone in the music industry,including $1,500 in financial aid and $500 food vouchers. Eligibility requirements include having worked in the music business for five years or more. For more information, email musicaresrelief@musicares.org or call 800-687-4227.
Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation is providing emergency funds for members of the theatrical distribution and exhibition community affected by the Los Angeles-area fires. The three-year employment eligibility is waived for natural disaster assistance. The application can be accessed online.
Federal Emergency Management Agency announced federal sister assistance is available to the state of California to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by wildfires from January 7 and continuing. Individuals and business owners who sustained losses in the designated areas can begin applying for assistance by registering online, calling 1-800-621-3362 or by using the FEMA app.

Dramatists Guild Foundation has Crisis Relief Grants available to dramatists(composers, lyrists, playwrights, librettists) who have evacuated or experienced loss in the fires. The grants can be used for rental costs, medical needs and insurance payments. More information and applications for the grants can be found online.
Motion Picture and Television Fund is working to provide financial assistance and a multitude of social services to working and retired members of the entertainment community. The organization’s social workers are currently taking hotline calls and will return them as quickly as possible. In addition to providing financial assistance, MPTF will also provide case management services to support industry members through the many federal and state and other resources that might be available to them. For more information call the hotline at 323-634-3888.
Inclusive Action has launched a new emergency fund to help outdoor workers that includes street vendors, landscapers and recyclers affected by the fires. Through this fund impacted outdoor workers can apply for one-time cash assistance support of $500. Recipients will receive cash payments on a first-come, first-served basis, and as funding allows. The application can be found online in English and in Spanish. For more information call 213-435-1151 or email info@inclusiveaction.org.
Free clothing
Brooklyn Projects, a skateboard and clothing shop on Melrose, is providing free clothing, shoes and socks for victims who left their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The shop is located at 7427 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles 90046.
THE HUNDREDS (501 NORTH FAIRFAX AVENUE) HAS PREPARED BOXES OF NEW CLOTHES TO BE PICKED UP AT THE STORE ON FAIRFAX AND ROSEWOOD.
Aerie, a loungewear and active-wear brand, in collaboration with social media influencer Lindsay Weiss, is offering fire victims free clothing, including tops, bottoms, pajamas, bras and underwear. Fire victims can fill out a online Google formand Aerie will ship out a package.
The National Council of Jewish Women is supporting displaced individuals and families by offering a thousand $100 vouchers to be used at the Council Shopsecondhand, stores. The Suay Sew Shop is opening its doors to offer free clothing, water and food for fire victims until further notice. Head to their shop at 905 Mateo St., Los Angeles, 90021. Store hours are normally 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Quirk, Los Angeles-area vintage store, is open all week from noon to 8 p.m. offering affected victims at least 10 items per person, visitors must show their I.D. The store is located at 112 W 9th Street Suite 400, Los Angeles 90015.
Vuori, a California-based activewear company, is donating clothing to fire victims at one of these locations listed in this Instagram post.
Baby supplies / child care
Babyletto, a Los Angeles-based nursery furniture brand, is providing free cribs to any families who have lost their homes or otherwise are affected by the fires. For more information contact the company at info@babyletto.com
Bobbie, an organic baby formula company, is providing any parent affected by the fires — Bobbie customer or not — with free baby formula. Fire victims can apply for the free formula at Bobbie’s online application.
Los Angeles-area YMCA locations are offering free child care for children of first responders, essential workers and families who have been displaced, evacuated or who have otherwise experienced loss. Children must be at least 4 years, 9 months old up through eighth grade to attend the program. Space is limited. For more information or to sign up, contact afterschool@ymcaLA.org. Some locations are closed or being closely monitored due to the fires. Check the full list online.
Some Boys and Girls Clubs in the Los Angeles region are having extended hours to provide support and shelter for youths and families. Participating clubs are offering safe spaces and distributing prepared meals and emergency child-care assistance. Call your Boys and Girls Club before visiting to ensure it is participating.
Upwards is supporting daycare providers and families impacted by the fires. Upwards is currently reaching out to daycare providers to ensure their safety, assisting with immediate needs and temporary lodging, and helping assess the damage and plan for recovery. The network is also assisting families in locating available childcare options. If you are a childcare provider or family in need of assistance, please reach out to Upwards at relief@upwards.com for support.
LA Family Support, an initiative started by Bumo co-founder and Eaton fire victim Joan Nguyen, is offering up to three free days of child care or camps to families affected by the fires. Care can be booked through Jan. 31, though a form must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
Pet support
Best Friends Animal Society has activated two pet pantry locations in Los Angeles that can provide essential supplies including pet food, cat litter, pet beds and other necessary items as well as human sanitary products for those who have lost everything. Both pantries are open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are operating out of these locations:

Vetster, an veterinary virtual care platform, is offering California residents free online appointments with licensed veterinarians for owners whose pets are feeling ill or are in need of medication that was left behind during an evacuation or lost to the fires. Visit the Vetster online help and support resource to set up an appointment. The offer is valid for one appointment per person for 500 pet parents from now until Jan. 23.
In Defense of Animals, an international animal protection organization, is offering support to fire victims needing assistance with free, temporary housing for wild or domestic animals. For more information call Sammy Zablen at 310-869-2383.
Petco is offering a free service to families who have lost their pets to Los Angeles-area fires. If you know someone who lost or are missing a pet due to wildfires report them m__issing for free on Petco Love Lost online. Turn on the “New Pet Match Alerts” to be alerted if a shelter, rescue or good neighbor has found your pet. Found pets can also be reported on the missing pet finder.
Kismet, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s Los Angeles-based dog food brand, is offering dog food to individuals affected by the fires and are extending the aid to organizations that are providing relief. Email support@kismetpets.com with your request.
Heath and mental health resources
GoodRx is offering free online healthcare provider visits through GoodRx Care to Los Angeles-area residents impacted by the wildfires. The visits can be used to get refills for essential medications that were left behind or destroyed in the fires. It can also be used for fast and easy treatment for a variety of conditions including the flu, a UTI and more. The service can be accessed online and Los Angeles residents can use the code LA-GOODRX-CARE.
Santa Barbara Midwifery and Birth Center is offering displaced Los Angeles-area fire victims free belly checks, postpartum care and other services for families who evacuated to the Santa Barbara area. For more information, email sbmidwifery@gmail.com.
Integrative Psychotherapy Group, based in Beverly Hills, is offering free short-term therapy services to some fire victims and referral assistance for others needing longer-term or more acute treatment during the upcoming weeks. IPG is offering a brief series of trauma-focused therapy sessions to help individuals, couples and families process the complex emotions that can arise in the immediate aftermath of wildfires and similar natural disasters. AltaMed has a mobile health unit at the Pasadena Convention Center providing health services to anyone who needs it. The unit is providing pediatrics, primary care, senior care, behavioral health, vision exams and free eye glasses, medications and social workers are connecting people with resources. AltaMed community outreach workers are providing hygiene kits, blankets, giving people rides to the YMCA for showers and other resources. The convention center address is 300 E Green Street, Pasadena 91101.
Ahava Pharmacy in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood is helping evacuees override insurance holdups so they can get the medications they need. Call or text the pharmacy at (310) 299-8079 for help.
Other resources
Chatbooks, an online company that offers custom photo books and albums, is offering free reprints of photos that fire victims have lost but still exist on a computer or online, whether they’re an existing customer or not. To reprint such photos, reach out to the customer support team at support@chatbooks.com.
Boll & Branch bedding brand is offering its Helping from Home platform to Los Angeles-area fire victims. Anyone can nominate someone in need to receive bedding by filling out the company’s online form.
Lyft has launched its Lyft Up Disaster Response program to provide access to free and discounted rides to help those in the affected areas. Riders in need can use the code CAFIRERELIEF25, valid for two rides up to $25 each ($50 total) for 15,000 riders from now until 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 15.
U-Haul has made 92 company facilities in Southern California available to offer its 30-day free self-storage and U-Box container disaster relief program to help evacuees and affected families. The following regions can be contacted to check for participating locations:

WARP, Los Angeles-based tech-forward logistics company, is offering free transportation and storage for affected businesses at their local LA-are facilities. In addition, any shippers working to move large-scale donations of food, water, essentials are free to use their facilities as a drop-off and pick-up point as well. 24 Hour Fitness is welcoming all affected residents and first responders regardless of membership to its Los Angeles-area clubs during the month of January. Visitors can access the clubs to shower, work out or simply recharge. Los Angeles residents are encouraged to contact their nearest 24 Hour Fitness club before visiting to confirm hours and availability. There is an online list of locations and more updates can be found on Instagram and Facebook.
Hair Stylists of Los Angeles have compiled a regularly updated online list of salons in the Los Angeles area that are offering free hair washes. The list contains salon location and contact information; it’s advised that you contact the salon ahead of visiting to make an appointment.
Legal Miga Law is offering free contract guidance and review to individuals and businesses impacted by disruptions or delays caused by the Los Angeles-area wildfires. The firm can assist was leases, vendor agreements, client contracts and insurance policies. You can submit your request for assistance online.
Donna’s Recipe, a haircare brand, is at the Lincoln Ave Christian Church providing Donna’s Recipe haircare products, clothes, blankets, pillows, food and more personal care. The donations are located at 1180 Lincoln Avenue, Pasadena 91103 on Sunday (Jan. 12) until 6 p.m.; Tuesday (Jan. 14) 2 to 6 p.m.; Wednesday (Jan. 15) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday (Jan. 17) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Still Life Studio in downtown L.A.’s Arts District is offering free shelf space, kiln access and workspace to ceramic artists who have lost their studios or workspace. Email mateo@still-life-studio.com for details.
The Guitar Center Music Foundation is helping musicians and music teachers replace instruments and gear that have been destroyed by the fires. You can apply for a replacement grant online.

Remainders Creative Reuse, a thrift store for arts and crafts supplies in Pasadena, is opening its makers’ space with tools and supplies to all from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Clothing donations are also available. Regular store hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency is offering $10 or less fares on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train service for travel anywhere on the rail corridor to assist those affected by the Southern California wildfires. Airbnb, in collaboration with211 LA, is offering free temporary housing for residents displaced or forced to evacuate due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County.
Important Details:
A limited number of credits are available for Airbnb stays.

The following bus lines are detoured or suspended due to road closures:

Suspended: 134 (entire line, due to the Palisades fire)
All other lines are operating as scheduled, and bus facilities and terminals have power.
Rail Services
A Line: Train service is operating between Southwest Museum Station and Downtown Long Beach Station (southbound) and from Fillmore Station to Azusa/Pacific University Station (northbound). A bus bridge shuttle is in place between Southwest Museum Station and Fillmore Station due to debris and fallen trees.
B, D, C, and E Lines: No storm-related impacts or delays. Grade crossing gates are tied at some intersections, which are functioning as 4-way stops. No delays are reported.
